Caroline Blincoe

Caroline Blincoe.jpgCaroline is the LTA’s Head of County and Club Relations. She manages the network of regional and county teams who are responsible for developing tennis throughout England, Wales and Scotland and brings with her a wealth of tennis experience and knowledge.

Caroline began her career as tennis coach working both at county level in Norfolk and also as a national training coach. In 1988 she took up the role of County Development and Coaching Officer for Norfolk where she was responsible for the development of county coaching programmes and co-ordinated the building of the first county centre in the country. Throughout the 1990’s she worked in various roles developing tennis in Norfolk and in 2001 was made the LTA’s East Region Development Manager. From here she progressed to Tennis Operations Manager for the East and South East in 2003 and three years later was promoted to the Interim Counties Manager. She was appointed to the position as the Head of County and Club Relations in December 2006 and is a key member of the LTA’s Tennis Leadership Team who is responsible for driving British Tennis forward.

In her spare time, Caroline is keen tennis player herself and also enjoys travelling and spending time with her family. She is also a dedicated fundraiser for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
