Peter Barron
Peter has been editor of The Northern Echo newspaper for 8 years, having joined the paper in 1984. Actively involved in grass roots sport as a member of New Blackwell Tennis Club in Darlington, Peter is also a board memeber of the Sports Aid organisation which directs grants to young people making their way in sport.
Peter is also a board member of Darlington Partnership and recently chaired an inquiry group examining ways to improve public health in Darlington.
